Writ to the Supreme Court against Oli's appointment as Prime Minister.

Kathmandu. A writ has been filed in the Supreme Court against the appointment of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Khagendra Chapagain, Shailendra Gupta and Deepak Adhikari have filed a petition in the Supreme Court today demanding that the appointment of Prime Minister Oli be revoked.

A petition has been filed saying that the President has appointed Oli as the Prime Minister contrary to the provisions of the Constitution. In the writ, it has been demanded that the Prime Minister should be appointed in accordance with Article 76, Clause 3 of the Constitution.

President Ramchandra Paudel on Sunday appointed UML President Oli in accordance with Article 76, Clause 2 of the Constitution.

This writ has been registered and payment has been fixed for June 6.
