Chinese Government Scholarship Program 2024 Opportunities for Nepali Students

The Government of Nepal, through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Scholarship Branch, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has issued an urgent notice regarding scholarship opportunities for Nepali students in China for the academic session 2024/025. This announcement follows the receipt of a formal offer from the Government of China, providing scholarships to eligible Nepali students.

Details of the Scholarship Program

• Scholarship Offer: The Government of China has extended scholarships to Nepali students for various levels and subjects, covering undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. programs.

• Pre-Nomination Process: As per the decision made by the Scholarship Determination Committee, students were pre-nominated on 2080/10/12. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology ensured that all necessary processes, including study confirmation, were completed.

• Communication with Chinese Embassy: The details regarding the pre-nominated students were communicated to the Chinese Embassy in Nepal through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The confirmation of scholarships was received via Diplomatic Note NCE/222/24 dated 24th July 2024.

1. Formal Communication: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the scholarships for the students listed below through Letter No. UPUE/CHN-06/2081/82, Dispatch Number NEA/416, dated 2081/04/10.

2. Confirmation of Study: The confirmation for study in the specified subjects and universities has been received and is officially acknowledged.
