The National Examinations Board has published the results of the Grade 12 examination.
According to the results, 52.91% of students have passed. Out of the 385,632 regular students who appeared for the exam, 203,847 have passed. Similarly, among the students who appeared for grade improvement in 2078 and 2079, 28.26% passed, while 62.05% of those who appeared in 2076 and 2077 passed.

Examination Details:
- The exam was conducted from Baisakh 14, 2081.
- For the first time, an automated system was used to allocate exam centers.
- A total of 491,497 students appeared for the exam.
Grading System:
- The exam was conducted according to the Letter Grading Directive 2078.
- Students must secure at least 35% marks in the theory portion of each subject to pass.
- Those who score below 35% are marked as NG (Not Graded).
Comparison with previous years:
- In 2079, the pass percentage was 51.91%.
- In 2078, the pass percentage was 46.4%.
Note: The letter grading system was implemented for secondary education in 2078 and has been applied to Grade 12 results since then. The same system was used for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results of 2080.
