New Delhi: A Nepali worker has died in Pune district, Maharashtra, India.
The 22-year-old Nepali, identified as Ajay Kumar Bajrangi Prasad Maurya, was reportedly killed in an explosion at a factory producing vehicle spare parts in Parandwadi, Maval Taluka.
According to the police, Maurya lived on the factory premises. On Thursday, he used chemicals to ignite a stove for cooking, leading to a spill that caused severe burns.
Despite being rushed to the hospital and undergoing surgery, he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, as reported by The Indian Express.
The police are currently investigating the incident.
